I found my parents wedding cake topper all wrapped up in my Mom's cedar chest in the basement. In addition were my brothers tiny cowboy boots from the fifties, dresses my Mom had sewn, tiny knitted booties and my Dad's Navy uniform.

My Mom always visited my store on Christmas since it's only 3 minutes from my house. She got such a kick out of this new Valentine design that I had just done for Valentines 2008. She said you'll sell hundreds of them. Who wouldn't want one! She always gave me words of encouragement when I would get down on my business. I still have one on display in my store because she laughed so hard and was so happy that she could spend Christmas with her whole family.
